The company from Saxony in eastern Germany has a rich tradition and was founded in 2003. Since then GtO was managed by the 1977 established Baum Group. A number of leading employees from this group are now employed at GtO. Decades of experience in electro plating combined with state-of-the-art plant technology are a guarantee for ideal technical and functional corrosion protec-tion, with an appealing design to match.
An in-depth quality and environment management system, certified according to IATF 16949 and EMAS/ISO 14001, forms the foundation for our leading position in the industry in terms of quality and productivity.
GtO specialises in coating high-volume precision components with zinc and zinc alloy surfaces for major clients such as LuK, Brembo, Bosch and many more leading automotive suppliers, in addition to partial coatings using various top coats.
This significantly improves resistance to corrosion, tribological properties and of course the way products look – while at the same time also significantly reducing resource consumption by using the latest technologies.
Heiche Group
Heiche Oberflächentechnik was founded in Schwaigern in 1965. After a short time, the decisive cornerstone was laid with the chemical surface treatment of metal parts.
Today, various surface processes for customers from the automotive, machine and electrical industry are carried out, on the most modern plants, with high environmental
standards. Heiche Oberflächentechnik GmbH will always strive to achieve the best possible quality and to meet the wishes of its customers.
The base of our research and development are the excellently equipped laboratories, which enable us to answer almost all analytical qustions in-house.
As a result, customer specific process adjustments are possible in a manageable time frame.
By fully transferring Heiche Oberflächentechnik to KAP AG in 2018 and thus integrating it into KAP Surface Technologies, further organic growth, within a strong surface group
has been secured. Within Germany, the Heiche plants in Baden Württemberg, Bavaria and Saxony form a srong union togehther with Metallveredlung Döbeln GmbH
und Galvanotechnsiche Oberflächen GmbH plants.

Due to the history of the company which goes back to when it was founded in 1938, Metallveredlung Döbeln can fall back on decades of experience when it comes to surface treatment and has an excellently qualified workforce.
Whether it’s millions of headrests in shiny chrome or billions of the tiniest little screws, nuts, bolts or hinges – MVD always provides a highly- polished finish as well as long-lasting and sustainable protection against corrosion.
MvD is well placed for a future Europe-wide ban on Chromium VI-free and has already made its production processes very environmentally-friendly.
