New production line at Heiche Schwaigern

We are pleased to announce the official commissioning of our new production line at Heiche Schwaigern! On June 10, 2025, it was successfully put into operation especially for cleaning components for fuel cells.

The line is designed for the conductance washing process for indirect charge air coolers (iCAC) and was put into operation as part of a process approval.

What is the conductance washing process for iCACs?

The conductance washing process for iCACs in fuel cells is a cleaning method in which the cooling system is cleaned in a multi-stage controlled flushing process and the conductance is reduced to a minimum. The highly active surface is then protected against corrosion by passivation. Deposits, impurities or corrosion products are removed from the cooling system: preparation - flow - monitoring - flushing - passivation - drying. 100 % result check possible.

Advantages of conductivity washing:

  • Gentle cleaning without aggressive chemicals
  • Efficient removal of deposits
  • Continuous monitoring possible
  • Extension of the service life of the cooling system

The iCAC helps to optimize the performance and reliability of modern fuel cell drives - an important building block for sustainable mobility!
With this investment, we are ideally prepared to master the complex challenges of hydrogen mobility!
